Noticeboard

IMPORTANT NOTICE - Longshore Surgeries are preparing to change computer systems.

From Monday the 9th of September to Friday the 20th of September inclusive we will only be able to offer appointments for Medical Emergencies only. For Repeat Prescriptions please ensure that you order these in advance by Monday the 9th September.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience during this time.

When We Are ClosedNHS111

If you need a doctor outside of normal surgery hours dial 111 and your call will be put through to the responsible out-of-hours provider - 'Integrated Care' (IC24). A trained receptionist will take the details of your problem and arrange for a local doctor or nurse practitioner to give telephone advice, to see you at one of the medical bases or arrange to visit you at home if appropriate.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
